Looking upward at a thatched conical roof of a tent at a Kumbh Mela camp against an overcast grey sky. A brass or gold-tipped finial with small hanging bells crowns the peak. Two tall wooden poles wrapped in dark cloth angle outward from the top, with guy ropes running from them to the tent apex and down to the ground. Part of a red fabric structure appears at the lower right edge with a thin metal pole beside it. No people are visible.2013-02-15February 12 20132013-02-12February 12 20132013-02-12February 22 20132013-02-22February 12 20132013-02-12August 27 20162016-08-27 +1 copiesOctober 18 20102010-10-18 +1 copiesJanuary 01 20172017-01-01A photograph of a tall ornate wooden flagstaff, the dhwajastambha, rising against an overcast grey sky with its carved turned sections and crossbar and a small pointed finial at the top. No people are visible.2010-11-06August 31 20142014-08-31A tall tapering wooden or pillar-like post rises against a pale blue sky, topped with a dark crowned or lamp-like finial glowing orange at its tip. A dark sloped roof with exposed structural trusses sits below it at the lower right, with a small finial on its ridge. Palm fronds frame the left edge.
