August 15 20132013-08-15A photograph of a ritual offering on a gold-carved wooden platform before a tiger-striped backdrop. A pair of bare feet in orange-and-gold cloth rests on the platform's edge at top. Around a round tray are many small silver bowls of pink and red powders, rose petals, and a flower arrangement. A young man in white with rudraksha beads and white forehead markings holds a small cup. A woman in orange with white forehead marks and a bangle dips into a bowl, and another woman in orange holds a small bowl of yellow liquid. A child with white markings on the arms reaches toward the tray. Dried fruit and sweets are arranged among the bowls. The setting appears to be an ashram puja.2013-08-13August 24 20142014-08-24August 20 20142014-08-20February 01 20152015-02-01February 01 20132013-02-01 +1 copiesNovember 27 20142014-11-27 +1 copiesA seated figure in a golden ornate throne with a carved lion-head armrest sits on the left, wearing a red-orange garment with a matching shawl and a long rudraksha-style garland, with a white forehead mark and swept-back hair; the figure has distinctive ceremonial cues, so this is Swamiji (probable) receiving devotion. In front, a gold table holds steel thalis with flowers, yellow marigolds, kumkum and offering plates. Around it, a woman in a green sari with grey hair, a woman in white, a younger woman in red, and two men, one in a yellow-checked shirt and one in green, sit with palms pressed together in namaskar. Behind, a woman in white stands near a tray of fruit, and a brass hanging lamp and bells hang from the ceiling beside a pink-painted door.2015-02-01A photograph of a padapuja ceremony in a hall with an ornate gold throne. A seated figure in orange robes has bare feet resting on a gold tray of silver plates filled with fruit, pink lotus flowers, and offerings. Around the tray, devotees kneel in white and cream clothes; a man at left in a white dhoti with gold chain and folded hands, a woman in red and white with a bangle, a woman in cream sari with a rudraksha mala and a name badge, and two women seen from behind, one in a yellow-and-white sari with long dark hair.
