A seated man in a rust-orange dhoti-style wrap and orange shawl sits on an ornate gold throne carved with lion heads, wearing a long orange-beaded necklace. He gazes ahead while seven devotees kneel or sit before him on the floor. Among them, a woman in a teal top kneels with hands joined, a man in a green-bordered sari-style garment is seated, and several women wear white garments with hands folded in prayer. Silver and brass plates hold flowers, fruit, and oil lamps in front of the throne. Brass oil lamps and hanging bells stand near the gold throne, and a carved dark wooden door is on the right. A white wall air conditioner sits above the scene. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, an orange shawl and a beaded necklace, consistent with the page's claim.2013-05-13Indoor photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne carved with a lion-like motif and a tiger-striped cloth draped over the seat. The seated figure wears an orange-brown robe with a gold border, a long red and white garland, gold bangles and a gold necklace, and has white forehead markings; he appears to be a central religious figure receiving devotees. Brass bells hang from chains on the upper left and a plain black wall with a white wall-mounted air conditioner sits behind. In the foreground, a shaved-headed attendant in white with a rudraksha mala bends over a silver tray of flowers and offerings. Another attendant in white with white forehead markings sits beside the throne, and several women in orange saris are seated at the right, with silver plates of flowers and offerings placed on the gold table in front.2013-08-12A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-like armrest figures, wearing a rust-brown dhoti-style wrap with a gold-bordered yellow edge and a red-and-white garland with bead strands. He has gold bangles and a gold chain, and rests his bare hand on the armrest. Brass hanging oil lamps with chains hang above him. In front, several young people sit on the floor: one in red garments and white sash, one in green-gold ethnic clothing, one in orange robes with a rudraksha mala, and one in white and red. Silver-rimmed brass plates with flower garlands, fruit and offerings are arranged on a gold tray before them. A dark wall, an air conditioner and a wooden door complete the room. Based on appearance cues including the long swept-back hair, ornate gold jewellery, garland and gold throne, the seated figure is a probable Swamiji in person.2013-07-17June 17 20132013-06-17A seated figure in a golden ornate throne with a carved lion-head armrest sits on the left, wearing a red-orange garment with a matching shawl and a long rudraksha-style garland, with a white forehead mark and swept-back hair; the figure has distinctive ceremonial cues, so this is Swamiji (probable) receiving devotion. In front, a gold table holds steel thalis with flowers, yellow marigolds, kumkum and offering plates. Around it, a woman in a green sari with grey hair, a woman in white, a younger woman in red, and two men, one in a yellow-checked shirt and one in green, sit with palms pressed together in namaskar. Behind, a woman in white stands near a tray of fruit, and a brass hanging lamp and bells hang from the ceiling beside a pink-painted door.2015-02-01February 01 20152015-02-01A photograph of a seated figure on a gold-and-cream throne flanked by a gilded lion-shaped armrest and brass oil lamps hanging nearby. In front, a young man in white kurta with hands joined, and a woman in a white sari with hands in namaste, sit beside a silver thali of pink and red flower petals and offering plates. A small framed portrait stands behind the throne, and a wooden door with brass studs fills the right side. Two more devotees are partly visible at the lower right.2013-07-06August 17 20142014-08-17A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gilded throne with a tiger-skin cushion and carved lion-head arm supports, wearing a rust-orange dhoti and shawl with gold trim, a red and yellow flower garland, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and gold bangles. A ceremonial spirit of the seated figure is consistent with the page's description of Swamiji; the appearance has several cues (long swept-back hair, ornate gold seat, saffron clothing, mala garland) but the face is not used for identification, so the label is probable. Three boys and a woman in white kneel or sit nearby; one boy wears a white dhoti, bare chest and white tilak, another wears a green-gold outfit, and the woman wears white with tilak. Silver trays of flowers and offerings sit before them, with brass hanging bells and oil lamps overhead and a wall-mounted air conditioner behind.2013-07-17Photograph of a satsang in a richly decorated golden temple-style hall. A man seated on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-head arms wears a red-orange turban with a white floral ornament, an orange-red robe with gold border, and a marigold garland; he holds a small object and sits with bare feet. Before him, a group of about a dozen devotees sit on the floor in white clothing, several with hands folded in anjali, around a gold tray set with silver plates of offerings, red flower petals and lamps. Brass bells and hanging oil lamps are suspended above, and a camera on a tripod stands at left. Given the group visible, this is a pada puja setting.2014-09-07A man in a saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala and a white tilak sits on an ornate gold throne carved with a lion-head armrest, speaking to a group. Two seated priests in orange robes and a standing man in white cloth hold offerings and a puja plate, with brass dishes of flowers and food on a gold table. Two women with hair tied back sit in the foreground with their backs to the camera. A brass hanging lamp and bell hang above, and a gold-framed deity image is visible on the wall.2013-04-25A photograph of a seated man in a golden throne with a tiger-skin cushion, wearing a rust-orange dhoti and shawl with a gold border, a red and white flower garland, and gold necklaces and bangles. He holds a brass handbell raised in his right hand while a gold-framed ornate throne surrounds him. Before him on the floor are brass thalis holding offerings of flowers, sweets and oil lamps, plus a yellow flower-petal arrangement. Three people sit on the floor in prayer: a child in a red garment with a white cloth and tilak, a person in white with a red mark and folded hands, and a young girl in green with folded hands. Black walls, an air conditioner and a wooden door complete the setting. This appears to be a puja or aarti offering in an ashram hall, with the man in the throne seat identified only by appearance-based cues.2013-07-17
