November 12 20102010-11-12A photograph of a ritual pada puja in an indoor hall. A man with long swept-back dark hair in an orange saffron garment and a dark rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne at the upper left. Seated devotees in white dresses and white garments with gold borders hold lit oil lamps toward a silver tray of offerings and kalasha-like vessels set on a gold-trimmed low table. A woman in red sits at the back with palms pressed together, and a woman in a dark-red top sits at the lower left. Several participants wear yellow sashes and gold neck ornaments, and a bald man in a white dhoti with a red border sits in the centre. A window and cream wall form the background. Approximately ten people are visible.2010-09-16November 12 20102010-11-12A seated man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and long swept-back hair sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, a gold trident and gold staff beside him. Probable Swamiji is the central figure; the appearance cues are the saffron robes, rudraksha mala and long hair. Around the throne, a group of devotees sits on the floor in white dhotis and white or red-bordered shawls, with a plate of offerings, flowers and a kalasha-like brass vessel placed before them. A woman in yellow and a woman in red-bordered white sit to the right, and a bearded man in white participates in a puja-style offering. Walls are draped in garlands of marigold and rose, with a deity murti and oil lamps visible at the left edge. The setting is a hall with a sheer curtain and tiled floor, consistent with satsang or puja.2010-11-14Night-time ritual on an open-sided temple pavilion, with a fire pit (homa/yagna) in the foreground where flames burn over offerings and flower petals. A seated figure in a red-maroon robe, gold necklaces and rudraksha-style beads sits on an ornate golden throne with a red cushion under a striped canopy. Around him, participants in white dhotis and saffron/orange cloths stand or kneel, some children in white and yellow, and a man with a pink headband and bare chest tends the fire. Ritual items include a silver plate of food, brass lamps, fruit and a garlanded painted deity murti with lion and serpent figures at right. Strings of coloured lights hang overhead. A figure in a saffron-orange robe with long hair stands at right, seen among the group.2017-05-02October 29 20102010-10-29A photograph of a satsang or darshan in a gold-and-red hall. A man seated on an ornate gold throne with red cushions wears a saffron-brown robe and a long white and pink flower garland, with hands resting in his lap; the page indicates a person is present, but the face is not clearly distinguishable, so his presence is uncertain. Surrounding him on a red carpet, devotees sit in rows: women in blue, teal and purple saris, saffron-clad women with rudraksha malas, men in white dhotis and shirts, and a bare-chested priest in white dhoti. Brass plates with flowers and offerings sit on the floor in front of the group. Gold ornate draperies and a red-and-gold patterned backdrop frame the scene.2017-12-15A seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne wears orange robes and a dark rudraksha mala, with a red cushioned seat and gilded armrest. Around him, devotees sit on an orange and red carpet: a woman in a red blouse with a braid, a bald man in white with a red-bordered cloth, several women in white saris with gold borders and a woman in a yellow shawl. Some hold lit oil lamps and joined palms during a pada puja-style offering, with silver plates and small lamps on the floor. A woman in a red sari stands at the back, and a woman in a blue sari sits at right. A gold-framed deity image is visible at upper left, with a window and black curtain behind.2010-09-16December 26 20082008-12-26July 21 20122012-07-21 +1 copiesMay 26 20172017-05-26December 26 20082008-12-26
