December 23 20092009-12-23July 07 20092009-07-07A photograph of an outdoor ritual in a tree-shaded garden with bare red earth. A man with long dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead wears an orange-saffron garment and layered garlands of white jasmine, red and yellow marigolds and green leaves. He holds a brass aarti lamp with a lit flame in one hand and a brass hand bell in the other, while speaking. A red deity murti is partly visible at the lower left. The setting is a temple-garden aarti or puja.2009-12-23A photograph of a person in rust-orange robes standing outdoors before a plain pale sky and a palm frond. The person, with long dark hair and a white forehead mark, holds a silver oil lamp with a lit flame in one hand and a silver handbell in the other. Layered orange beaded necklaces and pink flower garlands with gold-toned ornaments hang across the chest. A yellow flower garland is visible at the left edge near a bundle of straw-like material.2013-03-11December 11 20112011-12-11December 23 20092009-12-23A photograph of a man in an orange-saffron robe performing aarti outdoors in front of tall palm fronds. He holds a brass aarti lamp with a flame and smoke in his raised right hand and a brass handbell in his left. He wears a thick multicolour garland of white, yellow, red and purple flowers, a gold bead mala, and a red tilak on his forehead. His long dark hair falls past his shoulders and he smiles upward. The page-level swamiji flag is yes, but the figure's appearance shows long hair, saffron robe, flower garlands and gold mala, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) candidate performing aarti in person.2009-12-23December 27 20082008-12-27December 23 20092009-12-23A man in a saffron-orange sannyasi wrap and a rudraksha mala stands outdoors before a tall palm tree, holding a brass aarti lamp with a bright flame in one hand and a silver handbell in the other, with a red tilak on his forehead. A brass plate sits at the right edge. The setting suggests an aarti or puja offering in an ashram courtyard.2013-09-11July 07 20092009-07-07September 02 20172017-09-02
