He wears a long red and yellow marigold garland, a rudraksha mala with a ceremonial gold pendant, and a vibhuti or kumkum mark on his forehead. Beside him is an ornate brass pillar-style shrine or kalasha-topped structure draped with white and red flower garlands and leafy green branches, with a small deity murti visible inside. A second person with a white forehead mark is partially visible at the lower edge. Palm trees and dark foliage fill the background.
