A temple courtyard with a red and white painted wall and a corrugated roof. In the centre, a man in an orange sleeveless top and orange-red dhoti holds a lit flame over a stone altar decorated with red, yellow and orange flowers and green foliage. Smoke rises from the flame. To the left, a shaved-headed priest in orange robes and a gold-bead necklace holds a silver tray. A brass lamp stands on the right beside a metal gate hung with garlands. Stone carvings decorate the altar base. No printed name or caption is visible.2010-10-18 +1 copiesA man with long, swept-back dark hair and a white-and-red forehead mark stands in profile beside a tall brass oil lamp with a bird-shaped finial, holding a lit lamp with yellow flowers on its tray. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange garment and a long white and red flower garland, under a stone roof with a pink curtain and green foliage behind. A second man in saffron robes and a gold beaded necklace stands at left holding a small brass vessel. The scene suggests a temple lamp offering or aarti on an open-air platform.2008-12-25 +1 copiesJuly 07 20092009-07-07A photograph of a long-haired man in a sleeveless saffron-orange robe with a matching orange wrap over his shoulder, a white and red garland around his neck, standing and holding a small brass bell and a lit oil lamp with a flame toward a richly decorated altar. Behind him a large floral garland of yellow marigolds, red roses, purple flowers and green leaves is draped over a deity murti. A tall brass oil lamp stands at left beside a red cloth, and a tray of flower petals is visible at the edge.2009-07-07A photograph of a temple courtyard with an orange-painted wall and a corrugated roof. A priest in an orange sleeveless top and red-orange dhoti holds a lit flame on a metal dish near a stone shrine platform decorated with garlands of red, orange and yellow flowers and green foliage. He wears a rudraksha-style necklace and a knotted hair bun. Beside him, a younger attendant in an orange robe and gold necklace, with a sandal mark on his forehead, holds a silver tray with small lamps. A tall brass lamp stand stands at right. Other flowers and a red-orange curtain frame the scene, and the dish is an aarti or flame offering.2010-10-18 +1 copiesDecember 21 20102010-12-21A photograph of a man in a saffron-orange robe standing outdoors beneath a stone temple canopy, holding a tall brass standing lamp whose cup carries a lit flame. He wears a long white and red flower garland, with a vertical mark on his forehead and long dark hair swept back. Beside him stands a painted wooden cutout of a fierce deity face with red and yellow colouring and bared teeth. Red cloth hangs behind the lamp and green foliage fills the background. Appearance-based cues of long hair, saffron clothing and a garland match a person candidate performing an aarti-style lamp ritual, though the image is uncertain.2008-12-25 +1 copiesMarch 03 20112011-03-03May 26 20132013-05-26 +1 copiesMay 19 20132013-05-19October 18 20102010-10-18 +2 copiesJuly 07 20092009-07-07
