January 12 20072007-01-12Night photograph of a dense field of brass kalasha pots, each topped with a husked coconut wrapped in green leaves and garlanded with white and orange flowers, with red kumkum-like marks on the coconuts. Many pots are set in rows on the ground. Blurred figures in colourful clothing stand at the edges, and a few lamp flames glow at the right. No individual person is clearly visible in the foreground. Ritual kalasha offerings are arranged in preparation for a temple ceremony.2007-01-12June 29 20142014-06-29 +1 copiesJanuary 12 20072007-01-12October 16 20062006-10-16December 22 20062006-12-22July 16 20062006-07-16Close-up photo of ritual offerings on a table draped with a purple cloth with gold embroidery. Several coconuts wrapped in white cloth stand with green mango or leaf sprigs and red hibiscus flowers. A polished silver kalasha-style vessel with engraved relief sits among them, with a bundle of grass or straw stems. Out-of-focus people stand in the background of what appears to be a gathering or ceremony.2013-12-09A close photograph of ritual kalasha pots arranged on a cloth-covered table. A central embossed silver pot holds green mango leaves topped by a coconut, surrounded by similar coconut-topped kalashas wrapped at their bases in white cloth, set on a gold-and-teal brocade runner over a magenta cloth. Blurred figures in warm clothing stand in the background, with no clearly visible faces. The setting suggests a puja or abhishekam preparation.2013-12-09November 24 20202020-11-24October 16 20062006-10-16Rows of brass kalasha pots wrapped in gold netting, topped with green mango leaves and white and red-tipped coconut husks, are arranged in a tiered display on a stage. Behind them, a deity murti and a seated figure in a maroon garment are adorned with long garlands of yellow marigolds, green and purple beads and white flowers. No people are clearly visible in the frame apart from the partially shown seated figure, who is seen only from the waist down with the garland-decorated area around them.2006-07-16
