In the foreground a fire pit of bricks burns with bright flames, and a brass bowl sits near its edge. Two priests in white dhotis with gold borders stand at the fire: the one on the right, wearing a maroon and gold shawl, a red turban and gold necklaces, holds a leaf tray of yellow marigold garlands and flower petals; the younger priest beside him, bare-chested with a sandalwood tilak, pours from the tray. A third man in a white garment and gold necklace stands behind, with other devotees further back. A red floor, a metal lamp stand, and green banana leaves appear behind the fire.2018-04-14 +1 copiesNovember 27 20122012-11-27October 16 20102010-10-16 +2 copiesDecember 05 20142014-12-05A night-time ritual photograph in a temple-like hall with a golden-decorated shrine behind. A seated young priest in white dhoti and shawl with gold border, rudraksha mala and white forehead and arm markings, holds a lit lamp over brass bowls and yellow flower garland. Two seated young men in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas and white ash markings sit beside him, one at a microphone stand. Behind them a man in white plays a long brass horn and another stands with a drum. Incense smoke drifts through the scene.2013-12-21Night outdoor scene of a priest in white dhoti and white shawl with gold-bordered edges, wearing a rudraksha mala, standing and holding a silver aarti lamp with several burning flames and smoke rising. Devotees in white shirts with lanyards kneel before him, one with hands folded in prayer and another bowing with his head lowered while the priest's hand is raised above him in blessing. The setting is dark with a paved ground and trees in the background.2015-11-18KAILASA HYDERABAD On October 14, 2026 +1 copiesA night-time photograph of a group of men in white ritual dhotis and shawls gathered under a corrugated roof, holding their hands together in prayer or reaching toward a lit oil lamp. A man in an orange-saffron garment with a tall ornate crown, a gold-beaded necklace and rudraksha-style beads holds the brass lamp with a bright flame, passing it among devotees; smoke rises above the flame. Several men wear white dhotis with sandalwood or vibhuti marks on their foreheads and rudraksha malas. The setting suggests a lamp-lighting ritual, possibly a Kartheekai Deepam aarti.2010-11-21
