A bare-backed priest in white dhoti with gold-bordered cloth stands at left, holding a lit camphor flame on a brass aarti plate toward a deity murti. The murti is draped in an orange cloth, decorated with yellow and red flower garlands and pearl necklaces, and sits on a white-draped platform with brass puja vessels and small oil lamps in front. Floodlights and string lights glow in the background. A standing priest in white dhoti and shawl with red-and-white border, bare-chested with a gold-toned beaded necklace, holds up a silver lamp with a flame in one hand. Seated devotees in white fill the foreground and background, some with hands folded. Leaf festoons and striped cloth hangings decorate the space. A figure in the lower right wears a white garment and glasses. The priest's build and dress match ordinary ritual attire, so the identity of the officiant is uncertain.2010-10-16 +1 copiesA priest in white dhoti and white shawl with a tilak on his forehead performs aarti, holding a tiered brass lamp lit with many small flames in both hands. Behind him stands a decorated pillar with colourful patterns and tassels under a corrugated metal roof with ceiling fans, next to an orange-walled temple hall. A brass plate sits on the counter in front, and a partially visible head is in the lower foreground.2010-10-01November 24 20122012-11-24October 16 20102010-10-16 +1 copiesA shirtless male priest with a bare upper body leans forward over a brass oil lamp with a large flame, lighting it with a red-wrapped stick held in his right hand. He wears a purple and gold patterned turban with a tassel, a white dhoti, a green and maroon waist cloth, a sacred thread, a red and gold necklace and a gold bangle. Behind him, a gold deity arch and striped yellow, blue and red hangings frame a temple altar with golden decorations, consistent with lighting lamps during a deepam ritual.2016-12-12
