February 28 20132013-02-28A tall copper-clad flagpole rises steeply against a pale blue sky, decorated with a yellow and red marigold garland near its base and a saffron cloth bundle at its tip. Below, a man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl stands with his arm raised, gripping a rope that runs up the pole to hoist the flag. A red-orange flag hangs from it on ropes, and a coconut palm stands against a pale evening sky under a corrugated awning. At the lower right edge, a partially visible person in orange-toned clothing with adornments grips the rope, pulling it up the pole.
