Photograph taken from below of a tall copper-coloured ornamental pillar or flagstaff topped with a small box and flag, its base wrapped with white and red flower garlands on a carved wooden or stone pedestal. Beside it, a man in a rust-orange wrap with a gold necklace and red-and-white garlands looks upward with both hands raised, apparently gripping a rope. Coconut palms and an overcast sky fill the background under a tin roof edge.
