Yellow marigold garlands with red flowers are draped around the column, and a small gilded figure stands in a niche on its shaft. Red and gold cloth lies at the base beside scattered petals. Palm trees and a thatched-roof structure surround the area under an overcast sky. On the right, a large banner shows printed figures and a caption. One seated person in white clothing sits at the left edge, and a few other people stand at the far left.2010-10-07A tall copper dhwajasthamba, a ceremonial flagstaff, rises from an ornate, carved bronze-coloured base with a seated figure in a small niche on its lower section. Marigold and red flower garlands drape its base and shaft, and a saffron-orange flag with a dark emblem flies from the top. Strings of small orange pennants stretch under a metal-roofed open shelter on the left. Palm trees and a silver SUV are behind it. On the right, a large portrait on a banner shows a smiling man in an orange turban and saffron robes beside Kannada text. No physical people are clearly visible in the foreground.2011-01-23A copper ornamental shrine-like lamp or pillar with a domed, ornately carved top and a gilded sitting figure seated cross-legged in a niche behind slender gold-coloured columns. Behind the shrine, palm trees, green shrubs and open grassy ground with simple concrete posts are visible under an overcast sky.2007-09-24June 07 20112011-06-07July 28 20142014-07-28Low-angle photo of a tall copper dhwajasthamba, a ceremonial flagstaff with a broad ornate base carved with leaf motifs. Its shaft is wound with copper rings and a small shrine-like housing near the top holds a flag. A seated gilded figure with raised hand sits in a niche on the lower shaft, and marigold and red flower garlands hang from it. Nearby stand a covered open-sided shelter with saffron pennants strung from its frame, palm trees, a parked silver van, and a large portrait banner at right showing a smiling man in an orange turban. The scene is an outdoor ashram courtyard, and no people are clearly visible.2011-01-23 +1 copiesSeptember 08 20152015-09-08October 24 20122012-10-24February 27 20112011-02-27
