Night outdoor homa at an ashram. A fire pit lined with marigold petals burns in the foreground. A monk in saffron robes bends forward, holding a flaming aarti-style lamp over the fire. Seated on a red and gold throne at left is a man in saffron wrap with a long garland of beads and a gold pendant, hands folded in namaskar; his appearance is consistent with the a person candidate, but it is uncertain. Behind them a seated crowd of devotees in white and orange clothing watches, many with painted foreheads. At upper right, an ornate gold-framed shrine holds a deity murti decorated in red and white. A parked vehicle and smoke are visible in the background.

A night homa at an open-air ritual site: a large fire blazes in a stone fire pit surrounded by brass bowls, trays of flowers, fruit and coconut offerings. Seated in the foreground, a priest in a white dhoti and a shawl over his shoulders sits beside a bearded officiant wearing orange clothing, red and orange garlands and a rudraksha mala, who holds a ritual vessel. Behind them, rows of seated devotees in white and saffron-coloured clothes fill the courtyard. On the left, a golden throne with a red cushion holds a framed portrait of a figure in orange clothing and red garlands; the portrait is a depiction and no appearance-based identification is made. Marigold garlands decorate the foreground.

Night scene at an outdoor temple-like pavilion with a sacred fire in a raised wooden fire pit on the floor, flames rising, surrounded by flower garlands and offering trays with bananas and fruit. Several people sit closely around the fire on the floor, including bare-chested men with white body markings and white dhotis, and a woman in a dark blouse with white cloth. On the left, decorated deity murtis sit on a red and gold altar draped with flower garlands. On the right, a figure in orange robes with a rudraksha mala sits on an ornate golden throne with a red cushion beneath a decorative canopy, while other people in white dhotis stand nearby. Smoke drifts through the scene.

Night outdoor ritual at an ashram with a homa fire burning in a raised stone fire pit in the foreground, with brass kalasha pots with mango leaves and coconuts set nearby. Behind it, a seated figure in orange-red robes sits on a red-cushioned seat at left, and a priest in dark robes sits at the right of the fire pit. A large group of devotees in white and orange-red clothes sit on striped mats, many with palms pressed together in prayer. In the background, a decorated golden shrine shows two deity murtis with blue skin and crowns, and a stone Shivalingam sits on a pedestal under a tall brass finial.

A nighttime outdoor fire ritual, a homa, is performed before a seated audience. A raised square fire pit with a bright flame sits on a tiered base decorated with yellow-orange marigold garlands. A priest in dark clothing with a pink-and-orange turban kneels at the right, holding a tray of offerings near the fire. Another attendant in an orange-brown wrap sits at the far right. A seated figure in a red-orange robe with a multi-strand orange and white flower garland sits on an ornate gold throne with a multicoloured canopy at upper left. Rows of seated devotees in white and maroon clothing fill the background.
