A night homa at an open-air ritual site: a large fire blazes in a stone fire pit surrounded by brass bowls, trays of flowers, fruit and coconut offerings. Seated in the foreground, a priest in a white dhoti and a shawl over his shoulders sits beside a bearded officiant wearing orange clothing, red and orange garlands and a rudraksha mala, who holds a ritual vessel. Behind them, rows of seated devotees in white and saffron-coloured clothes fill the courtyard. On the left, a golden throne with a red cushion holds a framed portrait of a figure in orange clothing and red garlands; the portrait is a depiction and no appearance-based identification is made. Marigold garlands decorate the foreground.

A priest in dark clothing with a pink-and-orange turban kneels at the right, holding a tray of offerings near the fire. Another attendant in an orange-brown wrap sits at the far right. A seated figure in a red-orange robe with a multi-strand orange and white flower garland sits on an ornate gold throne with a multicoloured canopy at upper left. Night-time homa at an open-air outdoor shrine. A large fire burns in a square fire pit edged with yellow flowers, in front of a golden deity murti decorated with red and yellow garlands. A tall golden arched canopy frames the deity, with oil lamps on brass stands on either side. On the left, a man in an orange turban and orange clothing gestures and speaks into a microphone. Seated in front of the fire, a young person in orange sits cross-legged with prayer beads. On a red and gold throne to the right, a person in rust-coloured robes sits smiling with hands folded in their lap. Several people in orange attire and a few devotees sit around the fire pit, some holding flowers. Smoke drifts across the dark background.
