January 06 20132013-01-06A large outdoor billboard on a street corner shows a smiling man in an orange-saffron turban with a white ornament, saffron clothing, multiple rudraksha malas and a headset microphone, pointing toward the viewer on a red cushion against a gold ornate backdrop. Yellow panels on the left carry Tamil text and portraits of two men in shirts. Below, pedestrians walk past, a seated man in white sits on a blue chair and a bicycle leans against the board. Swamiji (probable) appears on the billboard as a depiction, identified by the printed name and cues of saffron turban, malas and ornate clothing.2013-01-06A night-time outdoor crowd gathers on a sandy open ground in front of a large yellow-toned event banner. The banner shows a close-up of a figure wearing an orange-red turban and ornate gold-and-red clothing, with a golden necklace and a raised hand. Two smaller portraits of men appear at the banner's lower left, and Tamil text fills the upper left. Among the people, a girl in a lime-green dress stands at left, a woman in a red sari and a man in a white shirt with an orange dhoti are nearby, and a man in a white shirt and orange dhoti stands at the foreground right. Several men wear white shirts and white dhotis, and a woman in an orange sari stands at far right. Scattered litter lies on the ground and a bright light glows near the banner.2013-01-06Outdoor street scene at an ashram gate with a large orange roadside banner and a diamond-shaped kite-style sign. Both show a smiling woman with a saffron-orange turban and orange garment, in a depiction; the banner's printed caption names Paramahamsa Nithyananda, and the Swamiji portrait labelled on the banner is printed, not physical. In front, a crowd of people in everyday clothing walks past a parked truck and a colourful auto-rickshaw, including a woman in a red sari and men in white shirts and dhotis. Speakers and scaffolding stand at left under a grey sky with trees and a hill behind.2013-01-06A street procession in Tamil Nadu moves past a city wall and roadside buildings. Devotees in saffron and orange shirts and sarongs walk among people in white dhotis and shirts, some holding orange and red flags and a yellow-and-red parasol. A drummer in white beats a large drum at right. Behind them, a large photographic poster of a smiling woman in orange hangs on a float, and a banner with Tamil text and a portrait of a man in a dark suit is mounted on a richly carved stone shrine structure. A uniformed police officer stands at the left edge, and a man in an orange shirt walks in the foreground.2009-01-30December 29 20102010-12-29June 22 20142014-06-22 +1 copiesJuly 01 20142014-07-01June 22 20142014-06-22 +2 copiesJanuary 01 20092009-01-01A dense outdoor crowd presses along a tree-lined road in what appears to be a procession or welcome. A central figure in an orange-saffron robe with a matching orange garland and long dark hair stands out above the crowd, with hands raised and a smiling expression. Around him, many men in white shirts and white dhotis, some with yellow shawls and orange cloth, reach toward him and clap or wave. Several bald and white-clad attendants move nearby. Behind the crowd, large banners with portraits and printed Tamil text hang from poles and a small pale structure is visible. Some people wear vibhuti and red tilak marks. The central figure has long dark hair, orange robes and a garland, which is a probable Swamiji appearance cue.2010-12-29July 01 20142014-07-01
