In the foreground at right, a man with short dark curly hair wears a saffron-orange shawl over a white dhoti and holds a silver handbell (ghanta) in his right hand, facing the altar. On the left, a multi-tiered brass oil lamp (deepa) with several bright flames burns on a low altar beside a small shrine.
