A small wall-mounted air vent is visible behind his hand. Only one person is visible.2018-04-21A person in a dim hall holds up a brass multi-wick aarti lamp with several lit flames, the fire rising from the top wick. The person wears a loose white kurta with rolled sleeves and an orange-saffron shawl draped over the shoulders, with long dark hair tied back. A corrugated metal roof and dark walls surround them, and a small speaker or equipment sits at the left edge. The photo is taken from the side, with warm lamp light against the cool dark background.2007-10-01A photograph taken in darkness of a lit oil lamp on a silver ornamental stand with scrolled arms, held up against a black background. The flame flickers above a metal cup, and a wisp of smoke rises beside it. Below, a figure's hand grips the stand, which is wrapped with an orange and gold cloth with fringed edges. No face or body is clearly visible, and no other people are seen. The scene suggests a night ritual lamp, such as an aarti or homa lamp, but no specific event is shown.2016-02-07October 01 20072007-10-01October 01 20072007-10-01
