Title:

Glimpses from Day 5 of Himalaya Yatra 2006

Photos

Following are some pictures taken on Day 5 of the Himalayan Yatra. Enroute to Gangotri, the group stopped by for a session of meditation. Before reaching Gangotri, the group also stopped at Harsil, one of the most beautiful valleys of the world, and had lunch amidst fun and frolic. Here, SPH is seen flinging water at everybody and causing a flurry amongst them! Upon reaching Gangotri, one of the char dham, we can see the group in procession with the idols of Malayappa Swami, Sridevi and Boodevi. Malayappa Swami is the Utsava Moorthi of Lord Venkateshwar (the miniature form of the Lord that is taken in procession during important festivals). Sridevi and Boodevi are His Consorts.
