August 22 20172017-08-22November 07 20132013-11-07Night outdoor gathering with a fire pit in the foreground, where a flame rises from a dark pot decorated with marigold garlands and flower petals scattered on the grass. On the right, a man in a red-orange robe and dark draped shawl sits on a red leather throne-like chair with hands folded, wearing a dark cap or turban, a rudraksha-style mala and gold necklaces, appearing to be a probable Swamiji (probable) seated as the presiding teacher. Behind him, a seated audience of women in white and red clothing and a bald man in orange sit watching, with a standing fan and smoke in the background.2015-12-11June 17 20172017-06-17August 22 20172017-08-22June 23 20172017-06-23March 28 20132013-03-28June 17 20172017-06-17A seated man in an ochre-red robe sits on an ornate red and gold throne at a night ceremony beside a bright open fire pit. His right arm is bandaged in white, and he holds a yellow cloth while a kneeling woman in a multicoloured sari with a red shawl, pink handbag and gold-bordered sari presses her palms together before him. A man in a saffron turban tends the fire with a yellow vessel. A woman in a red-orange robe with a beaded rudraksha mala and a long mala stands at right, and another person in white stands behind. Marigold petals lie on the floor. Palm foliage and a fan frame the scene.2013-10-06Night outdoor homa at an ashram: a sacred fire burns in a stone fire pit lined with yellow marigold petals, with wood and offerings visible. A seated figure in dark red-maroon robes sits on an ornate red throne with gold carved trim, one hand raised to the forehead. Several people in saffron-orange robes sit on the ground around the fire, one with vibhuti marks and beads, others with white-marked foreheads. Strings of small colourful lights and palm foliage surround the scene. Appearance-based cues on the throned figure are insufficient for a confident identity claim, so he is described by role only.2013-11-04October 13 20132013-10-13March 06 20162016-03-06 +1 copies
