August 05 20102010-08-05Close photo of a padapuja offering: a woman in a white sari with a red border reaches over a large gold tray holding a heap of gold-coloured bells and small rounded gold bowls, with flower petals and a fresh garland. Around it are many polished silver bowls and plates holding rose petals, white flowers, yellow and sweet-looking mixtures, and small cups of oil. At the right edge, a figure in saffron-orange robes sits beside the tray, with only the lower body and draped cloth visible, and a blue floral cloth appears at the top.2010-08-05A photograph of ritual offerings arranged on a golden surface at a puja. Silver-rimmed bowls and trays hold saffron-yellow and brown offerings, with golden spherical objects and yellow and green flower petals scattered among them. In the foreground, a figure in an orange robe sits with palms pressed together in prayer, shaved head visible, and another person with dark hair is seen from behind at the left. Above, a figure in white clothing with a yellow cloth and a rudraksha mala sits near an ornate gold throne. The scene conveys a pada puja offering setting.2010-08-06August 05 20102010-08-05Overhead view of a ritual puja tray arranged on a gold-patterned surface. Silver bowls hold white jasmine-like flowers and small oil-filled cups, and a central platter is heaped with red and pink blossoms and yellow plumeria-type flowers around a small brass lamp. A silver-and-white vessel stands at the upper right. At the lower right, a bare hand with a tattoo places flowers into a bowl, and at the lower left another bare hand arranges flowers. At the top edge, the orange and maroon robes and beaded malas of two people are partly visible.2013-07-30Close-up photo of a ritual offering arrangement on a gold-toned tray. A hand wearing gold bangles and an orange-clad sleeve reaches in from the top, holding white flower petals or a small white bloom above silver bowls. Many silver bowls and plates hold white flowers, yellow marigold-like blooms, pink and red petals, honey-coloured liquid, and small grains. A silver spouted vessel and a kalasha-style silver pot sit among the offerings. The setting suggests a puja or abhishekam with flower and food offerings. A partially visible figure in orange robes and a white garment sits behind the tray.2013-03-08Close-up photo of a ritual offering tray with a large gold-coloured plate holding a heap of ornate gold beads and a small gold pendant or locket with a printed portrait photo of a couple. Silver bowls around the tray hold red rose petals, white flower petals, and grains or sweets. A saffron-orange cloth edge and an orange-red rose with white flowers lie to the right. No people are visible in the frame; only a fold of orange cloth at the right edge.2010-08-05August 05 20102010-08-05May 24 20172017-05-24May 25 20132013-05-25April 04 20132013-04-04Close-up of a padapuja ritual: a bare foot in orange ceremonial clothing rests on a golden tray, while a hand sprinkles white flower petals and red rose petals over the foot.
