A photograph of a long-haired figure in orange saffron robes and a red tilak on the forehead placing a hand on the bald head of a man in a white shirt, whose hands are pressed together in anjali. The man bows his head as a blessing is given. Behind them, other people in white and patterned clothing stand and kneel in an orange-walled hall, one woman bending low near the bottom of the frame, with a sign on the wall and a black speaker above. The giver of the blessing has an appearance consistent with the page's a person reference, though identity is uncertain, so it is given as a role: a sannyasi in saffron giving a blessing to a devotee.2011-08-10August 05 20102010-08-05August 07 20102010-08-07February 22 20132013-02-22 +1 copiesAugust 05 20102010-08-05A photograph of a saffron-robed man with long swept-back black hair and a white floral garland blessing a kneeling devotee. The robed figure, bare-chested apart from an orange cloth draped over his shoulders, places both hands on the top of the seated man's head. The devotee wears a white shirt, gold ring and a beaded mala, hands pressed together in prayer, and holds a small folded white paper. Behind them a standing figure in a white garment with an orange panel and a child in cream clothes are partly visible, with a red wall and an open space beyond. The blessing appears to be a shaktipat-style touch on the head.2006-12-10February 26 20132013-02-26December 01 20112011-12-01A photograph of a monastic figure in an orange-saffron shawl and shorts-length orange garment, with long dark hair swept back, pressing both hands to the forehead and temples of a man in a white short-sleeved shirt with a small pattern and a wristwatch. The bystanders include two women in white and blue saree-style clothing at left and a woman in a white top at right. The setting is an indoor hall with a corrugated or thatched ceiling, fluorescent lights, a fan, and a speaker on a stand. The orange-clad figure's appearance matches the page's a person reference only loosely, so the identity is left unsure and the figure is described by role as a sannyasi giving a blessing.2009-12-13June 30 20102010-06-30A photograph of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair, a white flower garland and bare chest, placing a hand on the forehead of a seated devotee in a white shirt, during a blessing or energy darshan. Behind them stand people in white dhotis and cream shawls, one with a gold-bordered cloth. Another seated man in a white shirt watches with his head bowed, and a woman in a red garment and gold bangles sits near the devotee. A plastic-wrapped bundle rests on a woven tray at the bottom, and a low red wall with a white sheet stretched across a bench forms the backdrop. Swamiji (probable) is present: the seated figure has long swept-back hair, saffron robes and a flower garland, and is performing the darshan.2006-12-10A photograph of an evening darshan in an ashram hall. A man with long, swept-back dark hair wears an orange sleeveless saffron garment and holds a golden kalasha-style vessel in his left hand while pressing his right palm to the forehead of an elderly man in a white collared shirt. The elderly man, with grey hair, has his hands folded at his chest. Behind them a woman in a dark patterned top and a woman in white stand watching, and ornamental fabric banners with yellow and blue patterns hang from the ceiling.2010-07-01
