A shaved-headed priest in white dhoti with gold border and gold-and-bead necklaces performs aarti, holding a silver lamp with a flame in his right hand and a brass bell in his left, seated before a white marble murti of a seated figure draped in orange cloth with a garland. Brass pots, a brass bowl and a green cloth sit on the floor, with incense smoke rising in a dim outdoor shrine behind an ornate metal grille. The priest's face and identity are not attributed; the seated figure is a statue, not a person.2011-09-28September 28 20112011-09-28December 31 20112011-12-31May 05 20122012-05-05October 26 20112011-10-26December 31 20112011-12-31October 26 20112011-10-26May 05 20122012-05-05A shaved-headed man in white ritual dress holds a small silver oil lamp with a visible flame in his right hand while looking upward. He wears a white dhoti with a red border, a gold chain of round beads, a gold bangle and a ring, and has white sacred ash markings on his forehead, arms and shoulders with a red kumkum dot. A gold pendant with a small framed portrait hangs from the chain. The lamp suggests a puja or aarti; an orange cloth edge appears at the right. He is a priest or devotee performing a lamp offering.
