Outdoor procession on a paved courtyard at an ashram. In the centre, a man with a bare shaved head? No: a man with short dark hair, a sandalwood tilak on his forehead, wearing a dark red-brown dhoti and shawl, a red and pink flower garland and a beaded necklace, presses his palms together in greeting and smiles. Behind him, a man in white dhoti holds a small ritual tray. To the right, a bald man in orange robes and rudraksha beads holds a long wooden staff. Behind them, a large stone Nandi bull decorated with yellow and orange flower garlands sits beside an orange ceremonial structure. Devotees in white clothes and yellow-bordered dhotis stand in rows, some with folded hands. A drummer in orange robes plays a large drum on the left. Red-leafed trees and palms frame the scene.2015-02-23January 1st 2013January 15 20162016-01-15January 01 20132013-01-01December 22 20182018-12-22A photograph of a man in a rust-red saffron-toned robe standing barefoot on a stone platform with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes lowered. He wears a thick multi-strand rudraksha mala, a large gold pendant, and a long garland of red and white flowers hanging to his knees. Behind him, dozens of people in white dhotis and shirts, some holding a staff and an orange umbrella, stand among palm trees near a red structure. Swamiji (probable): the centred figure has long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and rudraksha malas, matching the page's reference to Swamiji at this event.2016-04-10April 14 20132013-04-14Outdoor photo at a tree-shaded courtyard with a dark polished stone platform. A central man stands barefoot on a red mat with palms pressed together in namaskar, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti and a thick red-and-white flower garland, with a red tilak on his forehead and long swept-back hair; he has the appearance of a probable Swamiji and a long-haired ornate presence, with gold necklaces and bangles. Beside him to the left, a man in an orange dhoti holds a brass lamp and a plate of flowers. To the right, a shaved-headed priest in orange holding a tray of offerings and fruit wears a beaded necklace. Behind them, white-clad devotees, several in white dhotis and shirts, stand with hands folded, a woman in a red sari among them, and a boy in a white shirt at the right edge. Large banyan roots frame the scene.2013-01-01Outdoor photo beneath a large spreading banyan-type tree at an ashram grounds. A bearded man with long swept-back hair in a reddish-brown dhoti-style garment, wearing a white and pink flower garland, layered gold necklaces and gold armbands, holds a small brass bell and a plate of ritual items while standing in front of a black mat. Around him, devotees in orange and saffron cloth, a woman in a yellow sari, another woman in green and yellow, and a bald man in an orange dhoti stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. The setting suggests a puja or abhishekam at an outdoor shrine. The man's appearance with long hair, gold ornaments and garland gives a probable identification as a person, performing the ritual with the bell and plate.2016-12-23September 09 20142014-09-09January 11 20162016-01-11A photograph of a procession at an ashram with a central figure wearing a green leaf garland layered with white jasmine and red flower garlands, rudraksha beads, and multiple ceremonial gold necklaces over a saffron-orange garment. He has long dark hair, a white vertical tilak with a red bindi, and gold earrings. Beside him, a bald man in saffron robes with a gold pendant necklace and white forehead markings gestures. Behind them, men in white dhotis and bare-chested devotees with white tilak walk among orange ceremonial umbrellas with floral embroidery, banana plants and flower decorations in the background.2013-01-06
