Behind, men in white dhotis and saffron shawls carry tall silver-topped staffs, and ornate red, gold and green embroidered parasol-canopies on long poles are held aloft. At the lower right a woman in a white sari with red bindi holds a silver pot topped with mango leaves and yellow flowers, a kalasha-style offering.
