A ritual procession under a corrugated roof in an open hall with orange walls. Three men lead in front: the centre man in white dhoti and shawl with a silver kalasha or vessel held in both hands, flanked by two men in white holding golden-handled, pointed umbrella-like banners with multicoloured embroidered motifs. Behind them a man in a saffron-orange dhoti with white forehead markings and rudraksha beads stands with hands folded. Women in white saris and men in white shirts line the background, watching the procession. Plants and a small altar are visible on the left. Gold-coloured and orange ritual decor frames the scene.2013-03-10A photograph of a procession at an outdoor ashram entrance with a decorated floor of white kolam designs. Behind him, men in white dhotis carry similar umbrellas, one green and red, and a trident-topped standard is visible. Several sannyasis in saffron/orange robes walk in the procession; one wears a yellow-orange garland and holds flowers, another wears a long white floral garland. A man in white carries a metal vessel with offerings on the right. Women in white and orange saris and a few onlookers stand at left beside a thatched structure and flowering plants.2008-12-25September 26 20162016-09-26March 10 20132013-03-10
