He wears a white dhoti with a gold border and a long rudraksha mala. In front of him sits a brass kalasha-style vessel decorated with white and yellow flowers and purple blooms. Behind him, figures in orange and red robes sit in rows in a hall with maroon drapes, golden pillars and a seated crowd in the background.2019-01-05A shaved-headed man sits cross-legged in front of a wall hung with marigold and mixed flower garlands in orange, yellow, white and purple. He wears an orange dhoti with a yellow border, is bare-chested, and has white sacred marks on his forehead and arms, with rudraksha beads and a pendant around his neck. He holds a small bell and burns incense or camphor over a tray of offerings, including flowers and sweets. To the right, a second bare-chested man with white marks and beads sits beside a golden statue on a pedestal; a brass vessel stands at the left. The scene suggests a puja or abhishekam.2016-12-19A seated priest in a blue waist cloth and white dhoti, with a blue head wrap and a beaded gold-coloured necklace, performs puja before a decorated deity murti garlanded with yellow and red flowers. Near him a brass lamp holds a lit oil lamp, and bowls of marigold petals, a silver tray with offerings, and a brass kalasha stand on the floor. Two seated men in white ceremonial dress with flower garlands and gold-coloured shawls sit behind the altar, with a brass lamp stand and a pink cloth at the side.2015-10-18A seated priest with a shaved head, tilak markings and a rudraksha mala performs a ritual on a striped cloth at an outdoor setting with potted plants. He wears a white dhoti and a yellow-and-red shawl, and his hands are raised over a arrangement of kalasha pots wrapped in white cloth and decorated with yellow marigold garlands and red flowers. Brick-like blocks, a tray of coconuts, and brass vessels stand nearby. Only his appearance and role are visible, with no clear cues to identify him as a person, so the figure is described as a priest performing a puja.2016-07-18July 17 20152015-07-17A shaved-headed man in a white dhoti and white shawl with red border sits with palms pressed together and head bowed in prayer before an ornate gold altar with a yellow marigold garland. He wears a rudraksha mala and white sacred ash marks on his forehead and arms. Behind him a woman in a yellow garment with folded hands also prays.
