Behind them, partially visible people stand in the background: a woman in an orange and red sari with bangles, and a man in a white shirt. A white sack and corrugated sheet appear at the upper left. The lamps are covered with fine white mesh shades and reflect warm light.2006-07-16January 03 20082008-01-03Photo 11716057December 24 20072007-12-24July 16 20062006-07-16A photograph of a figure seated from behind in orange saffron robes with long dark hair, facing a large tiered arrangement of stacked, mesh-wrapped brass-topped pots holding green leaves and white flowers, with oil lamps and sheaves of bundled grass or fibre beside them. Fresh green mango leaves rise from the pots, and red kumkum dots mark the vessels. Bamboo stands at the left edge of the frame. The scene resembles a kalasha arrangement for a yagna.2006-07-16December 16 20092009-12-16Rows of brass kalasha pots wrapped in gold netting, topped with green mango leaves and white and red-tipped coconut husks, are arranged in a tiered display on a stage. Behind them, a deity murti and a seated figure in a maroon garment are adorned with long garlands of yellow marigolds, green and purple beads and white flowers. No people are clearly visible in the frame apart from the partially shown seated figure, who is seen only from the waist down with the garland-decorated area around them.2006-07-16Close view of many brass bowls, each covered with a large green leaf, arranged in rows on a white stone floor as naivedhyam offerings. Behind them, several women in orange and gold saris sit on a striped mat near a decorated altar with yellow and orange flower garlands. A brass railing and a gold cloth edge appear at the right side of the frame.2017-09-30July 16 20062006-07-16
