A person in orange-saffron clothing stands at right, wearing a rudraksha mala necklace, and holds a brass handbell with a figural handle in one hand while the other hand reaches toward the lamp. The background is blurred warm-toned interior. Lamp lighting suggests an aarti or puja setting. a person: the saffron robe and rudraksha mala are visible cues but the face and head are cropped out, so identity is uncertain.2017-07-20May 21 20162016-05-21 +1 copiesA photograph of a priest in orange robes performing aarti with a tiered silver lamp stand holding multiple lit oil lamps. The priest has a shaved head, a red tilak on the forehead, a rudraksha mala around the neck, and a gold bangle on the wrist. He grips the lamp stand with one hand while looking toward it. He wears a red tilak on his forehead, a gold bangle and a rudraksha mala. Behind him, blurred devotees in white and orange clothing sit in a warmly lit hall with brown patterned walls. The shaved-head priest appearance is not a clear enough cue to confirm a person's identity, so his role is described as a priest performing aarti. Lit oil lamps and a silver stand are the central objects.2012-08-23November 11 20112011-11-11A figure seen from behind, bare-backed and wearing an orange-red cloth wrapped at the waist, holds a tall multi-tiered brass aarti lamp with many lit oil lamps. The background shows blurred deity murti and ornate decorated shrine figures in red and green with gold accents. Brass lamp stand and bell-like object sit in the foreground. The scene suggests an aarti or puja at a temple shrine.2017-05-24Close-up photo of a tiered brass aarti lamp with many lit oil lamps on multiple circular tiers, held aloft by two hands wearing rudraksha bead bracelets, one with a red thread. The blurred golden background suggests a temple setting with a red cloth below. Only the hands and forearms of the person holding the lamp are visible.2014-06-06August 04 20172017-08-04December 22 20162016-12-22March 06 20182018-03-06
