He wears a white sleeveless vest and has greying hair; he holds a tool and a small copper-coloured ornamental piece with a circular, petal-like rim of rolled metal. On the bench lie loose metal scraps, a small white container, and a basic mobile phone, with a piece of paper and newspaper beneath. The setting is outdoors in bright light. No a person candidate is visible; only the craftsman is present.2016-11-18A photograph of a craftsman crouching barefoot on a concrete floor, carving intricate scrollwork and floral relief patterns into a dark stone slab with a hammer and chisel. No swami is visible in this sculpting scene.2009-09-22Close-up photograph of a craftsman's hands hammering a small copper-coloured stepped metal piece placed on a long pale wooden plank lying on a dusty floor. Around him lie metal tools, a small anvil-like block, a crumpled paper bag, scrap newspaper and a carved gilded wooden panel leaning against the wall at right. A white wooden bench stands at left. The setting is a workshop-like room used for craft work.2009-09-22Photo 11698305
