A seated man in a white sleeveless vest and violet dhoti with yellow borders works with a small metal tool on a round, perforated brass-coloured disc held in his left hand. He wears an orange and green thread bracelet on his right wrist. A small steel block with recessed holes sits on a wooden surface at lower left. The scene shows close handwork on a metal component, with no visible deity, ritual fire, or a person candidate present.2016-11-20November 18 20162016-11-18November 24 20162016-11-24 +1 copiesPhoto 11698305November 20 20162016-11-20November 18 20162016-11-18A photo of a craftsman seen from behind and above, working at a wooden bench on a small metal object. He wears a white sleeveless vest and has greying hair; he holds a tool and a small copper-coloured ornamental piece with a circular, petal-like rim of rolled metal. On the bench lie loose metal scraps, a small white container, and a basic mobile phone, with a piece of paper and newspaper beneath. The setting is outdoors in bright light. No a person candidate is visible; only the craftsman is present.2016-11-18A close photograph of a craftsman hand-working a copper vessel. He sits on the ground wearing a white dhoti and a white garment, with a thin silver bangle on his wrist, and holds a thin chisel or punch against the rounded rim of a copper bowl set on a wooden block. Iron tools lie on the wooden surface and beside it, including a flat chisel in the foreground and a hammer at the right edge. The copper bowl appears to be a metalwork piece being shaped by hand, and the scene suggests traditional metal craftsmanship.2009-07-20December 10 20062006-12-10 +1 copiesDecember 10 20062006-12-10 +1 copiesDecember 10 20062006-12-10 +1 copiesNovember 18 20162016-11-18
