A close-up photograph of a ritual offering on a round silver tray scattered with turmeric-yellow rice and pink and red rose petals. At the centre sits a yellow-wrapped coconut-like fruit beside a small white shell, with a bundle of yellow and orange threads tied around a golden-hued object, and a cluster of gold-coloured ritual implements and small ornaments. Green betel-type leaves lie beneath the fruit. Blurred background suggests a temple or ritual hall. No people are visible.2015-07-13October 18 20152015-10-18 +1 copiesDecember 25 20132013-12-25October 18 20152015-10-18Close-up photo of a ritual offering on a silver plate lined with green banana leaves. The round steel tray holds two coconuts wrapped in yellow-orange thread, with gold-coloured trinkets and loose yellow strands spilling over the rim. Behind, a lit oil lamp with a brass lamp holder, a green leafy plant, a copper vessel and small brass cups sit on a decorated altar with pink and red cloth. Warm lamplight gives the scene a devotional, puja-like atmosphere.2016-12-19
