Thick white smoke rises across the frame. In the centre lies a flat rectangular bundle wrapped in woven yellow-and-white matting, possibly an offering placed in the fire. No people are visible in the frame apart from a faint, partially visible figure in white at the upper left corner. The scene appears to be an outdoor homa or yagna site.2006-08-18A photograph of a long rectangular fire pit dug into reddish-brown earth, filled with grey ash and glowing embers, with small flames flickering over partly burnt logs.
