Thick white smoke rises across the frame. In the centre lies a flat rectangular bundle wrapped in woven yellow-and-white matting, possibly an offering placed in the fire. No people are visible in the frame apart from a faint, partially visible figure in white at the upper left corner. The scene appears to be an outdoor homa or yagna site.2006-08-18August 31 20172017-08-31July 01 20152015-07-01December 11 20062006-12-11A photograph of a large rectangular mud-brick kiln or oven structure with smoke rising from its top, set in a dusty village yard. Green trees stand behind it, a parked motorcycle sits to the left, and a stack of turquoise and white sacks is piled at the right foreground. A small figure in pale clothing is visible at the far right edge near the structure. No ritual, ceremony or a person-associated activity is visible in the scene.2009-08-03July 01 20152015-07-01Photo 11706343 +2 copies
