December 15 20112011-12-15A photograph of a standing woman in a red-orange sari with gold border and gold armlet, long dark hair, holding a lit oil lamp or ritual lamp near the trunk of a large banyan tree with aerial roots. Beside her, several garlands of yellow, red, magenta and green flowers hang from the tree. A small black stone platform with offerings lies in front, and a blue sign reads DO NOT ENTER THE CAVE. Another person in peach clothing sits at the lower left edge.2016-01-03Outdoor photograph beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. A shirtless man with long dark hair stands with his back to the camera, wearing a maroon dhoti with gold border and a maroon shawl, and holding a small ritual vessel while facing a decorated shrine. The shrine has a white arched frame wrapped in garlands in purple, yellow, red and green, with a red-painted stone base and a dark-rimmed platform. Pillars and a low stone enclosure surround the area, and a sign at left reads ENTER THE CAVE. Appears to be a puja or aarti at a shrine under the tree.2011-12-15April 10 20222022-04-10 +1 copiesA figure in a saffron-red dhoti-style garment with gold borders, long dark hair in a braided style and a gold necklace, stands with hands joined in prayer before a large banyan tree with aerial roots. Smoke rises from a silver oil lamp burning on a metal tray held by a priest in orange cloth at the lower left. Garlands of yellow, green and red flowers hang on the tree beside a dark cave opening, and a small wooden stool sits in front. A blue sign reads 'Do not enter the cave'. The scene reads as a temple-style puja at a sacred tree.2016-01-03October 19 20112011-10-19Photo 11682681 +1 copiesFebruary 12 20102010-02-12 +1 copiesJanuary 01 20122012-01-01January 03 20162016-01-03August 21 20112011-08-21 +1 copiesApril 26 20122012-04-26
