In the centre, a person in an orange robe and a leopard-print shawl stands barefoot on a raised stone platform, wearing a white and red flower garland and holding a small bundle of offerings, with head bowed close to the trunk. Stone-edged square pits and flat stone slabs surround the tree. At the right edge, two people in white dhotis and orange cloth stand farther back among white pillars.2010-10-05Outdoor ritual gathering beneath a large banyan tree with a dense aerial root system. A seated figure in orange-saffron robes sits on a raised platform at right beside a dark stone deity murti, with a second orange-clad person seated nearby. A large crowd of people dressed in white sits on the ground in rows facing the platform under the tree. A white pillar stands in the foreground. The scene suggests a satsang or darshan-style session in an open-air grove.2010-06-24August 21 20112011-08-21
