September 26 20112011-09-26Close-up photo of a puja ritual at a row of brass plates. A person's hand, wrapped with a red rudraksha mala and a gold bangle, reaches over a brass tray holding yellow marigold flowers, a small brass deity murti, and pink petals. Nearby lie brass cups, a brass lota and bell, and burning oil lamps on a white cloth. The blurred foreground shows other devotees in white and light blue clothing seated at the same ritual. This looks like a pada puja, a foot-worship ceremony.2011-12-14October 14 20082008-10-14August 24 20162016-08-24December 06 20112011-12-06September 26 20112011-09-26Two women in colourful saris decorate a deity murti seated on a gold-framed throne with red and white flower garlands. A third person in a white sari with gold border stands at the far left with hands joined in namaskar. Foreground shows a gold tray with puja items, a brass oil lamp, and a gold kalasha, with banana leaves and palms around the altar. Behind, other deities are dressed with garlands and a white-clothed altar is visible.2011-04-20March 13 20222022-03-13October 15 20112011-10-15A young girl with short dark hair and a maang tikka stands at the centre of a temple ritual, holding a small silver oil lamp with a flame in both hands, her gaze lowered. In the foreground, a figure in orange robes extends a hand over a silver tray of puja items, including a conch shell, pink flowers, and a lit lamp. Another person in yellow is partly visible at the right edge.2010-10-24February 09 20122012-02-09A photograph inside a white temple hall during a puja. Two women in green saris stand at right holding a red and white ceremonial garland and a brass tray of offerings, facing a small shrine. Three seated figures in white clothes sit on the floor before the shrine, one with a yellow shawl, and a young girl in a pink dress kneels at far right. The shrine holds small deity murtis with flower garlands and brass arches behind them, and brass oil lamps stand on the floor. A brick fire pit lies at right, and a red-and-white flower tray sits at lower left. A standing statue in orange robes appears in the background. No clearly identifiable a person figure is present.2009-09-22
