In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2, Verses 53 & 54, Paramahamsa Nithyananda identifies what he terms the "last problem between guru and disciple". Arjuna has spent his entire life close to Krishna. Because of this he has lost the understanding that Krishna is an enlightened being. When disciples live close to their guru, their daily experience of well-being has potential to blind their spiritual clarity. They may lose their awareness of the dimensions beyond mortality that their guru embodies. With compassion Krishna prepares his reply, aiming to transform Arjuna's perspective. Krishna represents the evolution of human possibility, the divine in human form.
