Puja

Introduction

There are many kinds of pujas for specific situations and occasions, but the fundamental elements remain the same. Every puja welcomes the Divine as an honored guest. The sequence of the puja contains all the elements of hospitality and appreciation for the presence of a beloved and distinguished visitor. During the puja, devotees welcome the guest and present offerings of flowers, water for washing (symbolized by a small cup or spoonful), clean clothing (represented by a piece of fabric), scented oil and food. They also burn incense and light lamps to delight the senses and brighten the occasion.

Daily Guru Puja & Shiva Puja

Guru Puja & Shiva Puja is a nectarine space to connect and experience Sadashivatva, oneness (Advaita) with the Guru, the embodiment of Sadashiva-AdiShakti, the Cosmic Consciousness. Puja is our personal time with Guru and Sadashiva. At that sacred hour, a devotee soaked in devotion, in the love current of Guru-Sadashiva, prepares to offer his limiting identity to the Infinite Lord.

By doing Puja with integrity, our seed of gratitude and devotion, nurtured by integrity to our beloved Guru, grows into Oneness with Him.

During Puja, we experience the Chit Gana Anubhava of Bhakti, Bhava Samadhi of Bhakti (surrender, devotion, dropping all the crap from the head).

Morning Routine - The Method to radiate Bhava Samadi

In the pancha kriya below the chest you clean. During puja, above the chest you clean. During the satsang you sit in Nirvikalpa Samadhi, just to vibrate, entangle Sadashivoham, Shuddhādvaita Satya. The whole morning routine I have designed as a complete embodying the state of consciousness, Chit Gana Anubhava. It is all about Bhāva Samādhi. It is all about Bhava Samadhi.

Whatever has become your Bhava Samadhi, chit gana samadhi, whatever has not become, you don’t know it. - Paramahamsa Nithyananda on the Morning Spiritual Routine

Pratyaksha Pada Puja

Pada Puja is a unique celebration of expressing overflowing deep gratitude to the Guru. In the Nithyananda Sangha, Pratyaksha Pada Puja is offering gratitude to our beloved Guru, Paramahamsa Nithyananda.
