Violence based joy involves abusing, attacking or torturing somebody and causing them suffering, where violence becomes the source of your joy.

Swamiji says “Never allow that smug you carry when somebody is tortured. Do not allow the violence based joy, even for 5 minutes. It is a poison.”

In the Nithyananda Sangha, we experience joy through Sattvic Activities. Swamiji calls it “Sattvik Ananda.” It is the joy which comes to you by non-violent activities like puja, kirtans and unclutching and puts you in Bhava Samadhi.

Sattvic Ananda - The only currency out of the Matrix

“I tell you, Sattvik Ananda is the only currency you can earn which will be useful for you when you are going to be out of this matrix.”- Paramahamsa Nithyananda
