The oldest sacred ritual in Hindu tradition is Guru Pāda Pūjā . The moment the first disciple was excited, Devi Parvathi, Paramashivashakti is excited with the experience given by Bhagavan Paramashiva; and in that extraordinary gratitude Devi Paramashivashakti fell at His feet and offered Guru Pūjā. Pratyakśa Pāda Pūjā to the Avatar is an opportunity to be in His presence (energy field). The word pāda means sacred feet in Sanskrit. Pāda Pūjā means to Honor the Guru in Loving Devotion and Gratitude at His lotus feet. When you are showered so much by Guru with His knowledge, experience, love, blessings, everything – when you are showered by Him, overflowing gratitude, you don’t know what to do. So you offer whatever you have at His feet. This guided book is for KAILASA's temples to create the space for devotees, Kailasavasis offering Pratyaksha Pada Puja. The book includes: items needed, list of offerings, dress code, arrangement setup, and concludes with how to prepare for darshan. The manual was guided by the SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam to the Nithyananda Vedic Temple in early 2007; so while the arrangements are the same, the publishers request the devotees to follow the mantras from Nithyananda TV as we continuously seek to get more authentic and align to recent revelations from the SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam and agama.
