On 27th April 2012, in a landmark event in the history of Indian religious tradition, His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda was declared the 293rd pontiff of Madurai Aadheenam, the world’s most ancient living Hindu religious organization. Accepting the responsibility, now the direct representative of Meenakshi and Sundareshwara, the eternal cosmic founders of the Madurai Aadheenam, His Divine Holiness 293rd Guru Maha Sannidhanam Paramahamsa Nithyananda Jnanasambanda Desika Paramacharya declared, “I wanted the whole world to know that I have accepted Madurai Aadheenam to revive Vedic tradition."

His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda walks among us today as the living incarnation of Devi Meenakshi. and Lord Sundareshwara. Behold this sacred darshan as He assumes the mantle as the religious head of the oldest religious organization that He Himself built and consecrated thousands of years ago.
