His Divine Holiness Bhagwan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam’s popular weekly article 'Kadavai thira katru varattum' ('Open the door...Let the breeze in') in the tamil magazine Kumudam has been compiled and released as a book under the same title in New Delhi on the 18th of Oct 2004 at the 'Delhi Tamil Sangam' function. On the same day, His Divine Holiness had a private meeting with the Indian President, Dr. Abdul Kalam at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi.

Indian President Dr.Abdul Kalam received His Divine Holiness with great respect at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi. He is seen receiving a copy of the book 'Kadavai Thira Katru varattum'(Open the door...let the breeze in) from His Divine Holiness. Below are a few pictures from the meeting.
The President said that he was a regular reader of His Divine Holiness article in the Kumudam magazine and went on to recall some of the articles to Bhagawan for further clarifications on them. He expressed his admiration for Bhagawan’s eternally smiling face and suggested to Him to devise meditation techniques for today's youth to acquire the same smiling countenance.
He also suggested to Bhagwan to devise meditation techniques specially for the mentally challenged children. Further, he appreciated Bhagawan’s initiative in taking part in the medical tests of the brain in Oklahoma in February this year, declaring that he too was involved in research efforts to fully explore the connections between the various emotions and the human brain.
