Several people in saffron-orange robes sit close together, some with white garments visible beneath them. In the centre a figure with long dark hair and an ornate gold-coloured ceremonial item near the shoulder sits upright, though the appearance is blurred and partly obscured. Faces are indistinct in the low light and background stalls and structures are barely visible.2006-08-20A dimly lit hall filled with seated and standing devotees at a Nithyanandam programme in Phuket. In the foreground a man in white ritual clothes with a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged with hands folded, beside a man in white with a bare-chested orange-and-white shawl and a seated man in orange-saffron robes with a lanyard. Behind them many attendees wear white and orange lanyards and sit or stand, some holding water bottles, with a bluish stage light glowing along the walls.2015-12-13 +1 copiesA dim indoor hall during an evening ritual. In the foreground, a person in an orange-saffron garment holds a bright flame aloft. Behind them, several people in white clothes stand with hands together. On the left, a small lit lamp and floral offerings sit on a low table beside garlands. Windows with grilles let in faint light from outside, and a ceiling fan hangs above.2006-12-17A dimly lit night scene at an outdoor camp, apparently a ground-level event at AadiKailaasa, Bidadi. In the foreground, a figure in dark clothing stands near a white bucket on the left. Further right, several people in light-coloured white or cream robes stand in a row along a path, with a bright white lamp glowing on the right. A larger group of figures in white clothing is gathered in the background under the lamp. Visibility is low and the image is grainy, so details of faces and objects are unclear.2006-08-20October 23 20062006-10-23Night photo of an outdoor campfire session on bare ground. A large crowd of devotees sits on woven mats and white plastic chairs in a wide semicircle facing a raised platform at left. On the platform a figure in saffron-orange robes sits beneath a small canopy, with a seated group nearby. Bright white floodlights and a vehicle sit behind the gathering, and smoke rises from the fire into the dark sky. Sandals lie on the ground at lower left.2009-11-20A crowd of devotees mingles under a dark tent with a blue metal support pole and a bright hanging lamp, at what the page describes as an evening event. Most men wear white kurta-style clothes, many with rudraksha or bead malas, and a few women wear green and white saris. In the foreground a smiling man with glasses, a red bindi and a blue lanyard sits facing the camera. At the right edge, a man in white with a large brown rudraksha mala stands partly cropped. Grey silk drapes hang at the back of the tent. No figure in the scene is clearly identifiable as the a person by appearance, so no candidate is marked.2007-01-01
