December 31 20182018-12-31December 04 20102010-12-04Night photograph of a large seated congregation on broad stone steps at an outdoor ritual. Many participants sit in rows along tiered red-brown platforms, many bare-chested or in white dhotis, others in saris and salwar kameez in pink, purple, green, blue and orange. Small brass oil lamps and brass vessels sit before them, with small flames glowing among them. A red draped table stands at the lower left edge. Several men wear white dhotis and shawls, and a woman in a leopard-print wrap stands at the left. No clearly identifiable figure is shown at the front, and no one is distinctly visible as a candidate for a person.2016-12-08December 17 20062006-12-17December 31 20182018-12-31February 11 20072007-02-11Night-time mass homa ceremony in an open outdoor ground, with rows of hundreds of participants seated on the ground before small brick-lined fire pits. Each pit holds a small flame and offering plates, and many oil lamps and candles are lit along the rows under string lights. Most participants wear white or pastel shirts and saris. In the lower right, a person with long light-coloured hair wears an orange garment and a grey-white shawl, seated beside a fire pit. Overall the scene shows a large group fire ritual with offerings and lamps.2007-02-11January 01 20092009-01-01November 12 20102010-11-12December 31 20182018-12-31December 12 20162016-12-12December 02 20102010-12-02
