A large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots and thick buttress trunks dominates the frame. Several people in white ritual clothing stand at its base among the roots: two men in white dhoti and shirt with shaved or close-cropped heads, and a woman in a white top with a backpack and yellow pants who is taking a photograph. To the right, a figure in orange robes stands near a white arch with a photographer, and a woman in white stands beside a tray of orange-red offerings. Reddish earth lies at the tree's base.

Outdoor photograph beneath a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots and a sprawling trunk. In the foreground, a woman in a white sari with a green blouse and gold border walks with a sash-like end across her shoulder, wearing a pendant necklace and a red bindi. Beside her, a young woman in a white top and white shawl, with long dark hair in a braid, balances a white bundle on her head. Behind them, a figure in saffron-orange robes stands among the roots, and another person in red clothing is partly visible. The ground is red earth with low white brick-edged platforms around the tree base.

A photograph of a group of devotees gathered under a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots and spreading branches. A woman in the centre foreground wears a white top and a beaded necklace, her hands pressed together in anjali mudra. Beside her, a woman in a blue tunic and white scarf stands with her back to the camera, and a woman in a dark sari with gold border stands at right gesturing. Others in white and muted clothing stand nearby on a stone-paved platform around the tree base, some looking upward. The scene suggests a devotional visit to the sacred tree.

Outdoor photo at a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots and a circular raised stone platform around its trunk. Several devotees in white clothing stand and pray with palms pressed together, including a man in a white shirt and a woman in a white sari near the trunk. Two garlands of yellow and red flowers hang from the branches. A sign reads DO NOT ENTER THE CIRCLE beside the tree. Flower petals lie on the dark stone floor in the foreground, and a man in white with glasses stands at the lower right. No person is clearly identifiable as a person.

Outdoor photo of a large group seated on mats and rugs beneath a wide banyan tree with thick hanging aerial roots and spreading branches. Most participants wear white clothing with orange or red shawls and orange beaded necklaces; several wear rudraksha-style malas. A woman in the foreground with glasses wears a white outfit and orange shawl, hands folded in her lap, while others sit with eyes closed or gazing upward. A man in a red robe sits on the right near the tree trunk. Behind them a stone platform rim surrounds the tree base. A camera tripod is visible at left.

A group photograph of about two dozen devotees standing barefoot on a wet dark stone platform in front of a massive banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. Most wear white or cream clothing: men in white shirts and dhotis with rudraksha malas, women in white or cream saris and salwar kameez. A woman in a dark patterned top and white shawl stands at left, and a woman in a purple salwar kameez stands near the centre. A man in a white shirt at the right edge wears a rudraksha mala. Lush trees and a stone wall fill the background.

Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots and spreading branches. In the foreground a woman in a white sari with a yellow border sits cross-legged on a dark stone platform. To the right, a black stone deity murti is draped in blue cloth beside a red-painted offering stone. A small figure in red stands further back near the tree trunks, and a few people are partly visible near the murti. Sunlight filters through the leaves onto sandy ground with low stone platforms.
