A bare-chested man in front has white sacred ash marks on his forehead and arms, and another man in orange holds a pink cloth and a garland. Behind them, further palanquins with red and gold canopies and attendants in orange and white clothing walk under a open-sided pavilion with cables and a backdrop of trees.2021-11-12A festival procession at night in which four men in white or bare-chested, with white and sandalwood-coloured forehead markings and rudraksha malas, carry a large deity murti on a wooden palanquin draped with thick red, pink, yellow and white flower garlands. The murti wears a gold crown and heavy gold necklaces and is dressed in a red and gold cloth. Red-gold ornamental panels and a gold ornamental stand stand behind. A bare-backed attendant in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with a rudraksha mala across the shoulders, stands with their back to the camera and faces a row of golden ornate palanquin-style thrones.
