A procession at night in a gilded temple hall. Four young male devotees, bare-chested with orange and white sacred markings on their faces and brow, carry a golden palanquin decorated with yellow and orange marigold garlands and red and gold fabric. The palanquin has a golden arch with carved makara-style finials and a red and gold canopy. The foreground devotee in the centre wears an orange-brown rudraksha mala and holds a wooden pole. The devotee on the right, wearing spectacles and an orange turban, grips a wooden pole with both hands. Another young man on the left adjusts the garland. Orange dhoti cloths and beaded necklaces are visible, and a gold-framed hall stands behind them.2021-11-12October 21 20152015-10-21 +1 copiesApril 25 20132013-04-25A festival procession at night in which four men in white or bare-chested, with white and sandalwood-coloured forehead markings and rudraksha malas, carry a large deity murti on a wooden palanquin draped with thick red, pink, yellow and white flower garlands. The murti wears a gold crown and heavy gold necklaces and is dressed in a red and gold cloth. Red-gold ornamental panels and a gold ornamental stand stand behind. A banner in the bottom-left corner shows an orange-robed man with a shaved head and a bright smile, but his features are not clear enough for a confident identification.2022-01-20A night procession carries a decorated palanquin topped by a gilded deity murti adorned with red and green jewels and layered garlands of yellow, red, pink and white flowers. A young boy on the left, bare-chested with a small pendant, holds a red cloth beneath a brass Ganesha murti while an adult in a cream and gold-bordered dhoti with a long rudraksha mala and ornate gold necklace reaches toward it. On the right, a long-haired man with a red-orange shawl and gold chain, bare-shouldered and with a healing scar on his arm, extends his hands to the murti. Brass lamps and a red cloth fill the foreground, and a second devotee in an orange garment stands behind. No clearly identifiable a person cues are visible to confirm an individual's identity, so the figures are described by role only.2017-06-18November 12 20212021-11-12
