A photograph of a group of men in white dhotis and white shirts with orange and saffron shoulder cloths and orange lanyards working together to haul a large grey stone roller or mill-like stone object on red carpet inside a decorated tent. Several men push and pull with wooden poles and ropes looped around the stone. Behind them, colourful draped fabrics, a purple sari and a red-and-gold palanquin-style seat are visible. One man in a cap stands at the right edge. The setting suggests a temple or ashram event with organised volunteer labour.

A photograph of a group of devotees in white dhotis and kurtas with orange sashes gathered around a heavy wooden beam fitted into a stone base, apparently moving or shifting a large idol in an indoor hall with bare concrete floor. Several men in white and orange stand bent and lean on the long log, while others in white and orange, some in saris, watch from the sides and behind. A man in a white shirt and checked lungi stands in the foreground pushing the beam, and a man in a light blue shirt holds the log overhead. A man with a shaved head in white kneels at the base. Off-white draped fabric hangs at the top right, and a yellow machine frame appears at the upper left. Bare feet are visible throughout.

A photograph of an outdoor construction scene under trees, where several workers carry a heavy dark granite slab with carved relief lines across its face, lifting it with cloth-wrapped hands over a rough stone and cement base. A man in white shirt and white dhoti with a red neck cord is at the centre, guiding the stone. Other men in white clothing and an orange-clad figure stand nearby, and a yellow machine wheel is visible at the left edge.

Three men in plain white dhotis and white shirts crouch on red earth, using hammers and chisels to carve a large reddish stone block. A fourth man in white stands at the edge behind them, and a person in orange robes is visible at the upper right near a green pot and white plastic chairs. Stone chips and rubble lie scattered on the ground. The scene appears to be sacred stone-carving work in an outdoor temple-related setting. No one in the frame is clearly identifiable as a person.

A photograph of a night idol-shifting in an unfinished concrete hall. A crowd of men in white dhotis and orange shoulder cloths lifts and carries a heavy wooden frame or litter on long poles. In the foreground, several men in white and one man in a red-orange shirt and checked lungi push and hold the poles. Behind them, a group of people in white and orange stands watching, including a bare-headed man in a white kurta with a rudraksha-style mala, several women in white saris with orange borders, and a light-haired woman in white. A white cloth canopy and a yellow machine frame stand at the left wall. Dim artificial lighting and bare concrete surfaces define the setting.

Several men in plain white dhotis and shirts crowd around a dark stone or metal form on the ground, working on it with hammers and tools while a flaming fire pit of charcoal and embers burns beside them. A woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha mala sits on a stool at the right, gesturing toward the work. Brick and red-earth ground, an orange-painted building with brown doors behind, and scattered tools and rubble complete the outdoor scene.
