A bearded man in orange-red robes wears a long garland of marigolds and orange flowers over his shoulders and walks barefoot along a narrow straw mat path, holding hands with a younger man in orange cloth who wears a beaded rudraksha-style mala. Behind them, several people in white and orange-saffron clothing stand or walk near the fence, and a woman in a green sari is visible. Bare branches and a barbed-wire topped wall frame the scene, with pink flowers placed on the wall.2017-02-03February 03 20172017-02-03December 18 20112011-12-18 +1 copiesJuly 07 20092009-07-07Photo 11717780 +1 copiesFebruary 28 20132013-02-28Outdoor ritual scene at an ashram garden path. A bare-footed man in saffron-orange robe with a gold ceremonial necklace and a rudraksha mala walks centrally, with white tilak on his forehead and whitened arms. Behind him on the left, a man in white dhoti and white shirt tends a small fire on a low metal stand, flames and smoke rising. On the left edge, a man in orange robe wears a sacred thread and stands near the fire. On the right, a man in orange robe holds a tray of offerings or ash. A white-clad helper stands behind the centre figure. Green trees, shrubs, a white wall and a fenced garden surround the setting.2009-06-15A photograph of a group of saffron-robed monks walking barefoot along a paved path of stepping stones through dry, sandy ground and trees. In the foreground, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears a saffron dhoti and shawl, a multi-strand white and red flower garland, and wrist bands; he is the leading figure. Behind him, a shaved-headed monk in a saffron cloth wears a white and red garland and a rudraksha mala, and a monk in a crown-like headpiece walks in the middle. Several other saffron-clad monks follow, with a green-roofed building and palm trees in the background.2012-04-27
